On 27 January 2026, members of the YouthDMH Core Group and Working Groups met in Copenhagen, Denmark, for a hybrid meeting hosted at the University of Copenhagen. The meeting brought together researchers from across disciplines to advance collaborative work on digital mental health for young people.
Discussions focused on ongoing research activities across Working Groups 3 and 4, including the development of studies involving mental health professionals, the role of design and theory in digital mental health interventions, and approaches to the contextual assessment of mental health difficulties. These exchanges supported the alignment of priorities and the strengthening of collaboration across the network.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the Core Group to review the overall progress of the Action, coordinate activities, and plan upcoming initiatives. Particular attention was given to ensuring coherence across Working Groups and supporting the continued development of joint outputs.
Overall, the Copenhagen meeting reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing research in youth digital mental health. By bringing together different perspectives, the network continues to contribute to field of digital mental health for young people.
